Recommended standard grade for new light-diffusion projects
A-683 is the recommended commercial starting grade for new PC, PMMA, PS, PP and PET optical projects. The available TDS and MSDS do not establish a unique technical advantage over A-682 or A-685; its role is to provide the main sampling baseline before an established-specification or economy-oriented alternative is evaluated under identical conditions.

How to prepare the first evaluation
- 01
Use A-683 as the first comparison grade for a new project and define the target luminance, haze and LED-to-cover distance.
- 02
Pre-wet the resin for dispersion, evaluate the 0.3-0.5% range and mix for 5-8 minutes.
- 03
Proceed by injection molding or extrusion, then verify colour, dark points, haze and transmission on the final geometry.
