A-8531
A-8531 grafted compatibilizer variants for filled and alloy systems
Two source TDS documents use the A-8531 model code: a PS-g-MA route for PS/GF and PS/CaCO3, and a SAN-g-MA route for PA/GF, PBT/GF and PC/ABS. Both list a 2-4% starting range, so the graft base must be confirmed before ordering or testing.

What this grade is positioned to support
- PS-g-MA compatibility route for filled PS
- SAN-g-MA compatibility route for engineering-plastic blends
- Interfacial adhesion and dispersion evaluation
How to prepare the first evaluation
- 01
Blend A-8531 with the selected resin for 5-8 minutes.
- 02
Proceed by extrusion, injection molding or blow molding after uniform mixing.
- 03
Evaluate the target property on matched control and modified samples.
Current TDS and application guidance
Source file: a-8531-tds.pdf. The same model code appears on two distinct graft-base TDS documents; confirm PS-g-MA or SAN-g-MA before quotation and sample approval. Do not treat the two variants as interchangeable without checking the resin pair and filler.
